Post by: zagist on December 14, 2014, 03:45:12 PM
Hi everybody,
I shoot a video with Canon 5d mark II in raw mode

f 3.2
ISO 125
shutter 50
WB 6600k
Transcendend CompactFlash 1000x 32gb

I converted  RAW to dng sequence with Rawmagic, and I exported the final prores 444 video just does it was with Davinci resolve. There is an Horrible noise in the background. What did I do wrong?
can anybody help me? thank you very much.

you mean the bokeh ?

I don't see any "horrible" noise, perhaps when playing the video its more noticible, but it looks like your conversion is generating some artifacts.

But I can tell you that in Raw recording the ISO only works on a Analog range, meaning it only records in 200, 400, 800, 1600 etc.. 125 and 160 are in fact ISO 200.

also setting white balance before hitting record does not affect the picture, its RAW data, so it doesn't matter.

And Rawmagic is not supported by Magic lantern, I suggest you use one of the  supported converters.

such a kliché answer

MLrawViewer made by Baldand for one

or raw2cdng made by Chmee

Both excellent converters.

Your welcome, enjoy!
