Hi everyone, I'm Darren, and have just installed MagicLantern on my Canon EOS-M, I have to say, I am impressed with what I have seen and hopefully will learn how to use it even more.
Thankfully, I've not had the shutter release problem with my 18-55 lens, which initially made me a little apprehensive about installing it, but I am so glad I bit the bullet and did it.
Hope it will come in handy on my trip to Rome :-)

I also picked up a EOS-M recently, after using Magic Lantern on my 650D and now 7D I had to try it out - as yourself I was worried about the shutter release issue but I have not experienced it either!
I've yet to put the camera to use yet but have picked up the EOS-M to EF-S Adapter so I can use my current lenses,
