Title: timecode in MLVDUMP
Post by: MonteNero on December 04, 2014, 09:24:58 AM
Hi! I know its not possible to add TC while recording. But what if generic TC could be added to dng files while converting Mlv files? TC would make possible offline editing and online conforming and grading. Are there any ideas?

some tools do that.. for example using the time/date of the mlv-file. and there is a timestamp inside the mlv.

Hi, chmee! Could you please explain me what you mean? Are you saying that it is already possible to add TC in mlv?

MLVFS (http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=13152.0) already does this.
