Why ML audio settings are not working on my 5d mk3?
I'm already using Magic Lantern on the canon 60 D and there i can set the audio perfectly (AGC, meters and everything), but not any more on the mk3. Does someone know why?
May I ask which video mode you are using? H.264, RAW or MLV?
RAW doesn't support audio recording.
H.264
And it shows only: speaker volume and beep, test tomes

AFAIK, you can already do most stuff in the Canon menu anyway.
I can only set the volume of the recording from the canon menu...not the analog gain, the meters or whatever...If someone knows how to make it appear it will save my life =P
You can only set the audio within Canon's menu. For adjusting the audio-out/headphone levels, play any clip on playmode and adjust the levels there. If you mute them there, then you loose the live-out as well 8)
You can use only Mic-Level signals going in the camera, Line-Level signals lead to distorted audio recording.
I hope this helped, Matthias
I know how the camera and magic lantern work. I have it on other cameras...but it doesn't work on mark 3. Maybe i downloaded the wrong one...i tried to download three times, but everything else works perfectly. Just settings for audio are not there.
But thank you for the help
Please take a look at dmilligan's link.
Thank you.
