So there is the Opteka LTX-80

But as you can see from the customer reviews & stars, it is a fizzled firework of dissatisfaction. I would cringe at paying much more than maybe $200.

Is there anything that anyone has found satisfactory?

I did not notice this before.

I do not suppose any settings will work for motion or nighttime wildlife tho?

There is actually a full-on module for lightning photography that does an amazing job:

Doubt this would work for wildlife photos: it's based on light detection--but I'm no expert.
