Title: Hampstead Heath, London in Autumn/Fall - Canon 7D 2k Raw
Post by: yongy on September 09, 2014, 11:00:21 PM
Hey all!

New user and much learned person!  After months of reading up, I finally loaded ML on my 7D and went out to shoot.  This was actually my second time using ML and the main learning curve was composing shots on crop mode!  haha!

Hampstead Heath is an absolutely gorgeous park with so much history.  The amount of wildlife that is housed there is incredible.  That, mixed with golden hour sun, gave me some incredible footage.

Hope you guys enjoy!  Please do give me tips as i love to improve all the time!   :)

As always, please play in 1440p quality!

That's great.  Why 1440p?

Thanks for sharing @yongy!

@MrSean -- Because it was shot in crop mode and possible at 1.4k as opposed to 1080 other than that... Makes it look more fluid and crisp when viewing in 1440.

Excellent composures on all of your shots.

Next project -- Dual-ISO @ 2.5k would be good for you to try...

*cheers*

Nice work - since you were shooting in crop mode, what lens(es) were you using mostly? Any ND filters for the bright sun to keep the aperatures from getting too small? Your wide angle views are incredibly sharp.
