Aloha, Sorry if this is has been posted before but I have been researching this for a few days and have only found one other post.
My 7d stopped working correctly. I cannot access the menu because the lcd screen is completely black. I have tried taking out the batteries and formatting the card. When I turn off the camera, it does say sensor cleaning but I cant get anything else to display.
My overall question is how do I get my screen back on? Is there a diagnostic I can run...

Remove battery, remove card, reinsert battery and startup. Results?
Try to plug external monitor via HDMI or composite - are you getting anything?
