Is it possible to use the intervalometer function in conjunction with a remote trigger? I shoot sporting events with remote cameras and it would be helpful to have the ability to shoot a predetermined set of shots, say 1 frame a minute, but also have the ability to override that and take successive shots via a Pocket Wizard remote trigger. For example, a camera pointed at a team bench that will shoot all game long, 1 frame a minute. But when the team scores, I want to be able to hold down the remote trigger and fire off the maximum frame rate per second that the camera has in order to capture the moment. Once I release the remote trigger the timed interval should continue (or begin again as I can stop the cycle when the game is over). Thoughts?
I should think this would work already. Have you tried it?
simply set the ML intervalometer, and use your remote trigger when needed. tough, there is a exposure question, because ether you have to set manual exposure that can be bad if day isr partly cloudy or auto ETTR but that makes camera a bit sluggish because it need time to adjust after each shot and it uses live view mostly. but yeah, it should work - ML intervalometer and external trigger
Or you could just use Av or Tv or even P. There's no reason you have to use M.
well depends, if you decide to make a time lapse after - you are pretty much screwed in P or Tv modes. Av is one you can use that automatically changes the exposure by adjusting shutter time.

no, not really: http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=8850.0
I use your script a lot, and I'm very grateful for it!
BUT you script can't fix the difference in DOF from changing aperture, in that can really ruin your time lapse. I've tried - no thanks, only the advanced intervalometer diaphragm ramping can be useful, tough I even battle with inconsistencies of working diaphragm (use manual lens or untwist the automatic one, till it's offline while holding dof preview button).
