Title: Cam Ranger alternative

Hi, just saw this one http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/B007W7UJTQ/qid=1121784818/sr=8-3/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i3_xgl ,
it s 36 Euro and does the same than camranger!!!

It does not.  CamRanger has a special firmware developed by them. This is just a router.

I also wonder about what is needed to make it works  cable and software? ..um firmware?

It s the same, and does absolutely the same.
Chainfire (dslr controller) provides a firmware for it with which you can use dslr controller with this router
