Title: Double Exposure/Multiple Exposure
Post by: billcanada on July 18, 2014, 05:04:12 PM
Would like to have double exposure/multiple exposure feature on Canon T3i/T5i. I know how to use photoshop and I rather want in camera to preview and save the shots like the Canon 5d mark III feature.
also it would be nice to have the selective colour feature as well (yes I have lightroom I could do it there but still better to have it on camera).

Requested several times... one example marked as Wont Fix... http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=5622.msg39280#msg39280

As you already know, by the wording of you post, it's a simple post processing action (with more control via Layers)... and as a general trend these are not part of MLs scope but you already knew that...

ML general economic rule: If something can easily be done in postprocessing it would be a waste of sparse dev time to go there.
You can try overriding this rule by setting up a *strong* use case why this specific feature cannot done later in postprocessing. Try your best and be prepared to fight your case. "It would be great" doesn't count as strong use case.
Same thing with rants.
