Hey guys, I know very little about Magic lantern, but I just recently started to really want to use the RAW video, but I was wondering how I could record in 3k? It gives me the option, but it just says "Cannot record in this recording mode (Highest 1780)" or something similar to that. Either way I was wondering how do I get it to be able to select that option if my SD card is fast enough? I'm planning on getting a 90 mb/s. But I'll get faster if I need to.
Theoretically you could do this only in crop mode (by pressing magnification glass button) but SD port write speed will be the bottleneck. Buying the fastest sd card on the market will not help. You should use the search function, such things are basics and were mentioned thousand times in many threads.
