Post by: LeoBigiaoui on July 05, 2014, 02:33:43 PM
Hey guys,

I'm glad to present you my new video. I'm a young french cinematographer and photographer. I did a trip in Vietnam for 1 month in May, and i released few days ago a video, that i shot with a 5D Mark III and raw video module. For color grading, I used LUTs from Impulz (VisionColor). I hope you'll like it !

Here is the link :

The video was shared by Color Vision yesterday : https://www.facebook.com/VISI0NC0L0R/posts/898713856811949

Feel free to share it, it would be an honour !

Cheers,

Leo

I think you did a great job! The pacing was done well, the types of shots and composition always kept my eyes glued. The colors you got out of the luts really held up. The music picked for it made it feel more alien to me and therefore, more interesting. Good job! Can you fill us in on your workflow for the visual side?

Nice shots, good edit. For the color grading I would use less saturation and contrast: the blue in the skies looks unnatural to me. But apart from this one point of critisism: well done!
