You haven't provided any useful information about your problem, hence the answers.
If you're expecting people to help, they need to know help with what.
Describe the conditions you're shooting in, settings you use, resolution, crop mode, what do you have on and what off in you ML menu, what exactly happens, etc.
Without that, nobody can help you.
camera 5d mark iii

firware 1.1.3
CF Transend 64gb 1000x

raw file full res.
I try to rec:
MLV RAW
1920x1080
global draw allow( I tried off with that same problem)
frame skip off
file >4gb exfat on (my card format is exFat)
card warm-up 1gb
memory hack on (I tried of the same problem)
Extra hack on (I tried of the same problem)
debug trace on
buffer fill method 4 (I tried 0.1.2.3.4 the same problem)
CF only buffer 9 (I tried 0-9 the same problem)
Ftrag, my experience is that 1000x cards often are to slow. Buy lexar 128gb 1066x. They work pretty damn well. Have also used komputerbay 128gb, 1000x and 1066x but not with especially good result. Hope that helps you.
Best regards
Pettermannen
Thank you ,
what about this card:
Lexar Compact Flash Card Thin Box 64GB 1066x Professional UDMA7
anyone had test this lexar?
There are plenty of threads about cards and their performance, over here (http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?board=40.0). Read some of them and you will find the answer.
Turn debug trace off.
Use an (decent) SD card, and enable card spanning. This should be enough to get you continuous 1080p recording with that current CF card.
thank you !!! :)
Hello every one,
today I bought A san disk card
64 gb extreme 120mb/s
I tried to rec raw 1920*1080 25 fps but after 5 sec display "frame skipping" .
My settings is above.
any idea
Turn global draw off and run card benchmark (debug tab). Post results.
Be great if you can post here too: http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=12630.0

Notice the write speeds top out at 59MB/s. Now look at the estimated write speed for the resolution you are using in the MLV menu.

According to Sandisk this card is specified for 60 MByte/s write And that's what you got.
