Does any one test the new set of the SD cards  280 mb/s (sandisk extreme pro for example).

in case this cards perform well can a 5D mark 3 or 6D record 2.5k or more continuously or there is camera limitations ?

Question has been asked before so please do a search before arbitrarily starting a new wasteful thread.

The answer is no, you're limited by the camera, and further, the SD chip in Canon cameras is not compatible with UHS-II technology required by these fast cards.

Lastly, even if you could record at a crazy speed, the maximum resolution is limited by what the data feed coming from the sensor is, so on a 5D3 that means 1920x1288. You could go up to crop mode, but IMHO that opens up some other compromises that might or might not be acceptable.

If you want to shoot at 2.5K in raw, you might consider the Blackmagic Cinema Camera.
