Title: 7D RAW continuous shots
Post by: naso on June 12, 2014, 07:14:45 PM
Hi,

I'm totally new in ML. I got 7D with the idea to shoot documentaries but was surprised when it told me it can shot continuously only at 1280x720 :( CF card is 32gb x400 the ML update used is from 10/06/14

If you look at the yellow line it says "expected 162-168 frames at 39.9MB/s"
Now the questions:

1. Why 39.9MB/s?! what does it means? As far as I'm aware the camera can transfer up to 60MB/s

2. Is there a way I can continuously shoot at 1728x972 ot any similar resolution? If I get bigger and faster CF will it change?

3. How hot the processors will go if I have to film long shots?

Thank you
