Title: 600D Movie Restart in Raw Video Not Working
Post by: Adamdes on June 09, 2014, 07:41:32 PM
I am using RAW Video with FPS Override set to a low value (ex. 0.2 fps) to make timelapses. My issue is that recording stops after 29min59sec, regardless of the number of frames actually captured.

I saw this thread http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=7592.0 and I understand that Movie Restart can work in Raw Video, at least on 5D3.

I was wondering if
1) I am not using it right
2) there is a bug and Movie Restart should work when using Raw Video
3) I should make a feature request to have this working/fixed on the 600D

I searched the forum before posting, I apologize if this is a repost or if I am posting this in the wrong section.

Movie Restart was not meant for raw video, though it can be refactored to work with it (and maybe it already works on some cameras, never tried).
