Title: Quick AF while recording
Post by: primemultimedia on May 18, 2014, 12:57:48 PM
Wondering if it's possible to continue recording through quick AF. As in you will have a black section of video as the mirror blocks the sensor but for me at least it would save a lot of time having to stop recording each time.

Thanks

Contrast AF isn't that slow, is it?

Unfortunately yes. Also it is only possible to use the focus box area whereas quick AF you can choose all focus points or middle point.

The focus box area can cover a larger area of the frame, then the focus points.
