Title: It will not work for me
Post by: ferraro on May 09, 2014, 10:09:47 PM
Got two 70D bodies to do time lapse and video after selling my video gear recently for a variety of reasons, amonst which was obsolescence and weight.
After reading almost everything that has been written on this forum, if I intend to do video via raw I am way too far in time or totally out of the game with ML and my 70's. Spending on a 5DII or III is out of the question so it seems to me that the fastest, cheapest and smartest solution is going to a pocket Blackmagic camera and use the EF lenses, manually operating, of course, with an adapter. That has been and is the way you always have to work on video to get pro results. If you have the 5D, great, but if you don't, ML it is just a free toy lo let you play games if the camera does not have the speed to write continuously raw at full HD.
I do not intend to offend anybody but thinking with the feet steadily on the ground.
Thanks

Is there an actual question?

Or are you just advising us all, that ML isn't suitable, for you!
