Title: [CLOSED] The focus indication in the lens without the chip.
Post by: Anton2707 on July 01, 2012, 11:03:56 PM
It would be useful, the emulator is connected lens when using the manual lenses without a chip, to indicate the focus, and other functions related to the focus (focus trap ...).
Make a selectable and editable profiles of lenses, which data will be recorded in exif.
Sorry, google translate :)

It's on the "features that are NOT possible - do not request them" thread
This feature seems to be a lost cause.

First part (using fake lens details to enable focus confirmation) isn't possible, as mentioned above.

As for second part, if I understood correctly, you'd like to have the ability to enter a custom lens name for any manual lens you use, which is then saved in the lens EXIF field, right?

Yes, write exif data from the previously recorded profile of the lens.
