Title: Highlight recovery in ACR vs Resolve
Post by: denoise on April 14, 2014, 04:37:10 PM
Hi,

I deliberately overexposed a clip to see my post processing possibilities in Davinci Resolve and I can't nail the highlight recovery I get in Adobe Camera RAW.

I've tried different LUTs without success.

I'm using a 5D mk II

Here is what I mean

DaVinci Resolve 11 is going to have Higlight, Shadow, etc sliders. But in Resolve 10 you can get the same results. Applying  a LUT isn't going to fix it though. You need to mess with curves.
