Title: 60D + 250MB/s UHS-II SDXC = ???
Post by: wolverineLPK on April 07, 2014, 07:11:26 AM
A 60D operator here. I'm curious on the buffer size of DiGIC 4 processor. Would it be fast enough for the new SanDisk Speed Class 3 to allow full 1920x1080 RAW imaging?

No, the limit is the SD controller inside the camera (currently "rocking" an appalling 21MB/s).

Well! guess I'm gonna have to look into a Panasonic Lumix (GH2 or beyond). That sucks. Thx for the feedback.

GH4 is just a couple of weeks away with 4k video.

If you're looking for cheap I'd go for a used 7D which you can use Compact Flash with... or a used 5D mk II.
