Title: Failed Captcha removes post on retry :(
Post by: Tired2 on June 19, 2012, 09:12:08 PM
I'm not sure if this is only a problem on my browser, but when creating or editing a post, a failed attempt at the reCAPTCHA causes problems.

I had it say "you have already submitted this post" on a retry, though the changed did not post.

Also, the text in the main body of the post is gone when you go back to retry the CAPTCHA.

Using Firefox 13.0.1

I have not encountered that problem. The verification is only required for the first few posts. You should not have to enter the verification code on any new post you make.

The captcha is there as an anti-spam measure, but after 3 posts it goes away.

Thanks, it is not required anymore.  I like that it goes away in a short while.  No problems posting now.

That's great to know that it goes away. I struggle to read it.
