Title: 60 FPS stretch ?!
Post by: Herben on February 18, 2014, 10:47:32 PM
Hey Guys,

I was recording in 60 Fps with my 7D (MLV Modul). When I set my desired Resolution, ML told me to strecht my clip by the factor 1.4x.
When I stretched the image by x1.4 in Resolve, the image now filled the screen but it seems like it was the wrong aspect ratio and the factor is more like x1.6! the image still looked streched apart horizontaly.

Need help

Cheers

1. If I stretch it more than x1.4 I lose Pixels. so isnt there a better way before recording?

2. If there is no other way. What is the correct factor so that the aspect ratio is correct?

larrycafe is sorrect at 1.66x stretch. I also opened discussion about this here. http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=10195.msg98249#msg98249
I had more success at 50fps than 60.
