Title: Flickering pixels
Post by: nazcaman on February 04, 2014, 09:47:47 PM
Hi!
I've been processing DNG's in Lightroom 5, importing TIFFs into FCPX and rendering ProRes clips. I'm getting this odd artefact, not sure how best to describe it, but it's like sparkly flickering "dancing" bright pixels around the edges of objects? It'd be difficult to see on a web stream and it's not immediately noticeable, they are tiny, but it's there and mainly when moving the camera, pan, tilt or slide.
I searched the forum, but most talk about flickering is to do with exposure changes between frames, I couldn't find anything describing this sort of thing?
As you probably realised English is not my first language :) so, I  might be using wrong keywords to find or describe the problem.

Does anyone know what's causing it and how to fix it?

Many thanks

Post an example so we can see it ourselves.

Mu guess: Compression artifacts.
