Title: Need help installing on 60D

I cannot install ML on my 60D.  I tried following the installation instructions religiously but it is not working for me.  Some of the details.

Firmware 1.1.1
Reset to default camera settings.
Manual mode
New formatted 32 G card
ML 2.3
Splash screen starts and goes off.  Red light blinks slowly and for as long as 15 minutes.
I remove the battery but the camera does not reboot. 
A reformatted card allows the camera to boot properly.

Any ideas?

Did you run firmware update on camera when you place ML files on SD card?

Malcolm, I did run the firmware update and as so as it starts, a splash screen comes up but disappears before I can read it.  I could look at it more carefully.  Something must be writing back and forth because I have to reformat the card in my pc to get the camera to boot.

Malcolm, I misread your post.  The camera was already at 1.1.1 so I did not rerun it.  Should I have?
