Hey.
Because i'm not really good in english it's hard to read and follow
all topicsand search answers for my questions so i made new topic.
I made some random clips and want to test best workflow
if i get some real project then i know how to do it.
This is my workflow atm:
1. Record 1280x720p MLV RAW+Audio with
650D2. Convert .MLV to .RAW+.WAV with
MLVBrowseSharp (mlv_dump)3. Remove dots from .RAW with
Pink Dot Remover4. Convert .RAW to .DNG with
BATCHelor 3.0 Alpha35. Import .DNGs to
After Effects at
Multiple Sequences5.1 At import need to make basic edits with
Camera Raw to every clip (white balance, clarity, etc.)
6. Drag all clips to timeline each one in new line and set them to succession
7. Export it in one clip to .AVI with
Intel IYUV codec.
And now its a normal clip what i need. In one clip but its ok.
8. Import this clip to
Adobe Premiere and make my montage. Add color correction, effects etc.
My question is, is there a faster way to get it to normal clip what i need?Test clip with this workflow. Export @ 720p H264 10Mbps Bitrate.
Without audio and additional color correction and effects.http://vimeo.com/84581578

Why don't you just use Premiere Pro?
It supports DNG sequences just fine.
Only PP CC supports DNG as I remember?
Use the A.E. Premiere Pro Work around, thought Dynamic link
I posted a short video on that. You maintain the True Raw workflow.

Why are you Stepping on the Quality of the image ?
.Avi is find but QT, .MOV is better, On a PC I would save my Working File ( Intermediate Codec )
To Blackmagic RGB QT, with Trillons Color That' the close to the raw as a Video clip on the PC,
for editing. Or on the Mac it would be Prores4444 .The Best way is with ACR & A.E. to make Video File.
You can use the MLV Viewer Sharp to extract DNG+wave or just Raw+wave then convert it with CDNG's
That's my workflow:MLV> Raw+wave> raw2CDNG>etc..

I didn't manage to find that codec for download. Does it require a purchase from BM?
EDIT: Found it burried on their site. You have to choose "support" related to one of their products

Any thoughts on BM RGB QT vs DNxHD?
