Title: 60D Snow video - (mostly RAW)
Post by: OObner on December 24, 2013, 07:32:37 PM
Here is a video I shot several days ago:

Most of the shots are RAW - but some are h264. Can you which is which?
Some RAW shots are on the 60D max resolution - 1728x736 - and some are at lower resolution, in order to get longer shots. Can you tell which is which?

Conformed to 1080P and graded with daVinci resolve lite and film convert, edited on fcp X 10/1 (my first on this new version).

hope you enjoy! comments and questions are welcome!

Very nice!  :D How do you deal with black/dead pixels from the 60D RAW shots?

tin2tin: I don't...

I use a special build from September, which has an option to eliminate these nasty pixels.
you can find it here:

Read the first post fully;
Download using the link from this post (Update #12);
Use lv_af_raw in raw_rec menu (you may need to turn it off and on after each time the camera shut down).

works.
