Title: ISO Test - 5D3 ML Raw VS A7s
Post by: QuickHitRecord on September 15, 2014, 03:53:12 AM
This was fairly non-scientific but might be interesting to some. I wanted to get an idea of how much light each camera was capturing. I don't really have a need for the super-high ISOs but I was curious how these cameras would compare at the ISO settings that I do commonly use:

It's hard to beat the grading latitude of the 5D3, and that's worth moving my lights in a little closer to me. It's nice to have the A7s as a rental option, though. In this case, I had it on hand for a shoot as a backup in case the power went down (and it did! But by then we had moved onto exteriors).
