Title: My Sandisk Extreme Pro 95 MB/s just died. Bug intervalometer with autofocus??
Post by: wety67e on June 18, 2020, 11:15:57 AM
Hi
yesterday i used intervalometer with Autofocus On in dark scene(underexposure).
When the canon 100d not put in focus, the camera crash ..led sd flashes and turn off camera.
After 3-4 times, my Sandisk Extreme Pro 64GB 95 MB/s just died.
I used a 2019 build.
Please excuse my bad English.
Thanks  :)

Sorry, unable to understand what exactly happened by ML and what you did to solve the problem.

Don't know if you tried to enabled feature "Use Autofocus" (Shoot preferences). There is a bug https://bitbucket.org/hudson/magic-lantern/issues/2923/feature-use-autofocus-breaks

In such lock situations: Remove battery *before* removing SD-card!
This should avoid hazards in the future.

If you want to save the fotos from the dead sd, try the SanDisk recovery program, don't give up if it's not working on first try, maybe using another reader can help. When I bought the card, the recovery program was as gift, with a code on the box, for me it was the solution.

Just wondering, how dead is the SD card ?
Can't you just read it in camera or computer ?
Can you reformat it in camera or computer ? (Ofcourse, after you saved photos from teh card if necessary)

Is it really beyond repair ?
