Title: What's the lv_rec module and where it's supposed to work?
Post by: Marsu42 on June 05, 2013, 01:41:16 PM
I can't help being curious: There is this lv_rec module that doesn't work on my 60d (yet?) due to undefined symbols that are only there (yet?) for digic5 650d/6d/5d3/eosm - what is this module? Will it be available on digic4 also - I got raw_rec working by now...

Doh, sorry & thanks, didn't see that - so I take it lv_rec is obsoleted.

I don't think that you should simply drop the 422 recording option.

If it is possible to get 422 video at 24 frames per second (Without H.264 compression) that would be awesome since the SD cameras can't get nice resolutions with 14-bit RAW video.

Something like yuv_rec would be a nice option to avoid the H.264 compression without buying an external HDMI recorder ... :D
