Title: last release where EOS 550D used HDMI
Post by: colincampbellrae on January 12, 2017, 11:32:02 AM
Hi Everybody,
I've been using Magic Lantern on my two Canon EOS 550D's for a while now, specifically utilising the HDRI function, intervalometer and focus peaking and really enjoy ML's functionality.
Only recently I discovered that the version of ML i'm using (cos I had to re-install on a new card) no longer supports the regular HDMI output with overlays(or I'm not getting any output?).

Need I quote a release/build number here?
Its quite recent, but I am at work and didn't bring the cameras in today, so if its crucial, I can quote a build number tomorrow.
Am I missing a menu switch on/off?

I want to now use my 7 inch HDMI monitor for setting focal points on my follow focus rigs because my eyes are now (as I'm getting older) needing a bigger screen.
I'm happy to have overlays etc like before, I have no desire for external HDMI recording.

What was the last build number I can hopefully roll back to for this? Anybody know?
Thanks in advance,
Campbell
