Title: Motion detect questions
Post by: nocomp on December 02, 2013, 11:08:38 AM
Hi folks,
first of all thank you for this brilliant hack, it s awesome :)
i am using the build of dec 1st, with a 600d and so far so good.
i have questions concerning motion detect, that i can t figure out, concerning the sensitivity
you can set a value from 1 - 30, the higher the value is, the more sensible it is?
when i try (trowing a lego onto a pile of lego) there is nothing obvious
apperture 1/400 max iso, and quite often picture is taken once all bricks are on the floor.
thxx ofr your time && help

best regards

"Higher values = less sensitive to motion".
Don't you have those two text lines at the bottom of the screen?

Ciao

:P Just said the same thing to him on IRC.

For anybody else who is wondering.

trigger level: Higher values = less sensitive to motion

meaning, Lower values (smaller numbers), will be more sensitive.

There is a search function implemented in this forum.
http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=3511.0

Short: Motion detect reversed. Will trigger when *no* motion is detected. Never used it.
