Title: SanDisc Extreme Pro RAW capability (Canon 60D)?
Post by: Bachi on May 15, 2013, 02:44:02 PM
Hey there,

sorry for asking this question but I'm just so curious...

Would a SanDisc 95MB Extreme Pro card be able to handle 24fps RAW files (e.g. 720p)?
And that on a 60D? Or is it true that the card slots can't go fast enough?

Thanks in advance!

Non UHS will go at like 20-21 MB/s... only downhill from there.

As a 60D owner that would give an arm and a leg to get HD or close to HD out of my camera does anyone think it plausible that a way could be found to export the raw data over HDMI or do do a quick 2:1 compression before heading to the SD to get the data rates down to a sustainable level so that we have something approaching compressed raw?
