DEAD lexar 32gb 1000x cf card

My lexar 32gb 1000x cf card died today on me i install the ( magiclantern-v2.3.NEXT.2013Nov16.5D3113 ) Version the day before did some shooting and after i copy the files off the card stop working, if i try the card in my Canon Mk3 the camera would not turn on the same for my PC it would even freeze up my laptop at times. also the laptop would not find the card

not sure if there is a work around for this or should i Trash it?

You have a lifetime warranty!  Excellent cards but even the best fails sometimes.  Make sure you do not use a usb 2.0 card reader, it can damage UDMA cards.  Only use USB 3 adaptors

Heh... got same dead card result after using usb 2.0 card reader.
Card changed to new one, reader sent to trash :)

Want to ask about Transcend TS-RDF8K Super-Speed USB 3.0 cardreader. Is it ok about using with UDMA Lexar 1066x card?

RDF8 is UDMA-7 compatible. UDMA without specific number tells nothing ...
