Aftereffects pro res appears to play slightly faster

Problem: Pro Res 422 export plays faster than Raw2dng preview .mov

After converting .Raw files to DNG files I import them into After effects.
From here I color correct with ACR and scale my composition to be 1080 1920.
I then send to to the render queue and export out as pro res 422.

The thing is when I compare the .mov file made by raw2dng and my new color corrected pro res, the prores seems to be ever so slighly faster. People walking in the frame seem sped up. I can get around this by slowing the footage down.

But I would like to know if anybody has a solution for this, as if I start to add externally recorded sound it will become a bigger issue.

You're probably using the default fps for cdng sequences in AE of 30fps (It just always assumes 30fps since it has no way to determine it automatically). You need to set this to the actual speed you recorded at (probably 23.976). Right click on the footage in AE and goto Interpret Main. Set the fps to what it should be, also make sure you change the comp settings to be the same too.
