Canon EF 100mm Macro Lens focus distance output to ML display

Can anyone tell me if either the Canon EF100mm f/2.8 Macro USM or the 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM report the focus distance back to Magic Lantern? I'm only interested in these 2 specific lenses at the moment. Thanks in advance, Alex.

When I bought mine, went to the shop with my camera and ML and just checked it before buying it
(of course that's not possible for online purchase but you can go to a shop and ask for a try without buying the lens after)

Thanks guys, that's very helpful. Unfortunately non of the camera shops I can get to have either version for me to check, so I'm going to have to buy online.
