Hi everyone,

I'm in panic mode.  My T3i won't boot.

I had Firmware 1.0.1 installed with Dec2011 ML installed.

I wanted to update toe ML 2.3 so I installed Canon Firmware 1.0.2.

After installing 1.0.2 i got the flashing red lights (probably because the ML2.2 wasn't compatible with 1.0.2 and still installed)

How do I go about fixing this.  Every time I enter an SD card the camera won't boot.  But it turns on without an SD Card.  PLEASE HELP!!

I got super excited to film my first born and now I'm stressing because I think I bricked my camera.  Being in panic mode, I tried reformatting the SD card I used to upgrade the firmware (not sure if that's the right thing to do).

PLEASE HELP!!   :'(

Thank you in advance!!

If it turns on, it's not bricked. Format the card.

But when I put in a card it doesn't turn on.....

When i put a blank 16GB SDCard, it won't boot.  How do I reformat it if the camera won't boot up?  Via PC?

I was able to disable the boot and then uninstall ML.

Thanks for the quick response... :)

I will start from scratch. wish me luck!
