I still have the firmware v 1.0.0 on my 600D..i'd like to install the ML v 2.3...do i need to install the older firmware updates from canon's website..the one's right now is v 1.0.2..what should i do? tnx

Hi, You should update the firmware even if you would not be using ML. Firmware is put out there by the companies for a reason. I use the 600D and updated before installing ML.

You can go straight to the last firmware, as every update re-writes it from the start

Hi wynboost,

from 1.0.0 to 1.0.2 then, install ML 2.3

You're confusing ML with the camera's firmware. ML is only a firmware add-on. The latest firmware for the 600D is 1.0.2, which is the one you need to install before using ML 2.3 (as specified in the Download page).
