Hi
Can anyone tell me if the release version of ML2.3 works with the latest firmware update for the 5D2 v2.2.1?

Either you mistyped it or your are incorrectly informed.

The latest 5D Mark II firmware is 2.1.2.

I have successfully installed and used ML 2.3 on a 5D Mark II with 2.1.2.
