I would like to share my latest video with you guys.
The opening shot is a timelapse created with the silent shutter feature creating a MLV. I also threw in a hyperlapse wich was created the same way but this time with half shutterpress triggering the capture of the frame. So basicly a step forward, half click, step forward, half click, repeat. I love this method because it keeps my shutter from constantly firing.

I colorgraded the dng files in Resolve and exported to files I could edit in Premiere Pro. There I played around with Twixtor per usual to create these smooth slowmotion movements.
I'm still having lot's of fun playing around with the raw files!

Camera: Canon 6D
Lens: Canon 16-35 F2.8 L II & Sigma 70-200 F2.8
Resolution: 1824 x 466 upscaled to 1920 x 816 | 1824 x 776 upscaled to 1920 x 816
Color grade: Davinci Resolve 12
Edit: Adobe Premiere Pro

Really surprised on how much you got away with mv720 (60p and no fps override used, right?) mixed together w Twixtor. Amazing stuff really and thanks for sharing @Melvin Jose!

I'm a 6D owner, taking slow, faltering steps into moving pics.

That was great, and inspiring to see what's possible. Please keep posting!

@Melvin This is really amazing! I love the cleanliness and sharpness! but what i dont understand is: how did you manage to shoot over 720p on a 6D?!

I have a delkin SD card that runs at 100mbps writing speed.

but it still refuses to shoot over 720p on 30 fps. If you have done slow motion with twixtor then i believe you have shot on 60fps. How?!

I don't really know what you mean with mv720, but I have been shooting in 50fps lately. I switch to 25 fps when I want more resolution because of the stretching you have to do with 50/60 fps RAW.
Yeah Twixtor is so much fun to play with.

Magic Lantern RAW gives you the option to shoot higher resolution 50/60 fps footage. The big drawback is that it will squash the image down vertically. So you lose some vertical resolution. This has to be stretched out in post. Just enable raw recording, switch to 50/60fps and select the 1920 resolution in the RAW module menu.
The 6D can't write data any faster than 40mbps. So having a 100mbps is great but the 6D can't fully utilize it anyways.
