Canon t4i/650D Error 70

Hello everyone, I recently received a Canon t4i from a friend to have a go at fixing the Error 70 that keeps popping up. I am able to turn the camera on and access all of the menus. However, whenever I attempt to take a photo, the error 70 appears following what sounds like a partial actuation of the shutter (maybe just the mirror flipping up. Also, whenever I try to go into Live View or Video mode, the error appears. I do not currently have ML on this camera. Is there any ML operations I can perform for possible fixes or maybe a diagnostic?
