It should be pretty easy to implement after understanding how EDMAC works and how to redirect the image buffer (see e.g. display filters or full-screen magic zoom).

However, you won't get 1920 on all models; you will be limited by sensor resolution / 3. On 70D, that would be 1808 pixels horizontally. For other models, you can find the exact value under Debug->Image Buffers (second pair).
