Hi! Canon EOS Question!

Working with libgphoto (Linux/Embedded) I noticed that there is no way to switch the camera operatation mode A/S/P/M/B via USB.

Is there a way via ML to deal with that?

Any help apreciated.

Best Regards

Or put it the other way around.
Automatic system for a Web-Cam.
I like the CANON to perform long-time exposure shots in Bulb mode. But in a previous step I like to derive the optimal exposure time by taking a test picture in A-Mode first with a high ISO setting. From the picture exif info I then retrieve the from the CANON choosen exposure time and can so calculate the exposure time needed for a much lower ISO setting.

Therefore I need to switch between the Modes A and B utilizing the USB-Interface.

Maybe there is a better solution for this problem.
