Has anyone been successful in converting mlv dngs to 3:1 compressed dngs with Slimraw?

So I played with both mlvfs and mlv_dump, here is a quick report.
mlv_dump doesn't work with 12-bit atm, but mlvfs is fine with both 10 and 12 bits. 10-bit is actually decent, definitely better than 10-bit linear from the DJI X5R, for example. Both 10- and 12-bit work properly with the lossy modes in slimraw. I'd still only use lossless compression on 10-bit footage, but then I'm picky. 12-bit should be fine with vbr hq or 3:1.

And to recap, here's what I'd recommend:
•10-bit -> use lossless compression
•12-bit -> lossless, lossless 10-bit log, lossy vbr hq, lossy 3:1
•14-bit -> lossless, lossless 10-bit log, lossy vbr hq, lossy 3:1, lossy 4:1

Thanks. Gonna experiment with 12bit 3:1. Last I tryed I only got white frames in resolve tough.

This shouldn't be happening. Certainly not now, but also not in the past. How do you produce your dng files?

Markus

Mlvs mounted with pismo file mount. Compressed with slimraw to hard drive. Processing in resolve 12.5.
Latest version of Slimraw.

Any issues with the current versions of slimraw and mlvfs? I've tried 10, 12 and 14 bit files. Everything is fine here.

Markus

Maybe pismo is the problem. I'll try mlvfs with dokany. Windows here.
