Hi,

I had some issues with aliasing when recording 1920x1080 RAW and lower resolutions on 5d Mark III, but when looking this up online, the general view is that mark III shouldn't have that problem.

Could you take a look at the screenshots below, is this amount of aliasing normal for this camera? I use MLVFS into Resolve 12.5.

Hi!

No It shouldn't have those problems at all. Something is probalby wrong with the workflow.
A better option for the slowmo part is to use the camera setting 60fps 720p and then unsqueeze it in post. So you get a 1920px wide image from the start.

DNG samples?

For the 720p, you could use the crop_rec module to get 3x3 binning (same as with 1080).

You may want to try different demosaicing algorithms.

Hi,nawi.
using the MLRAWVIEWER to converting raw or mlv to prores 444,can get a batter picture quality

Different demosaicing options in RawTherapee (all other settings identical). To get the processing settings, append .out.pp3 to image links.

Which one looks best to you?

According to my eyes ... seems #12 would be the best bet. Not too much magenta nor cyan and falls right in between these two.
