I'm relatively new to ML so forgive me if this has all been discussed before.

I have final cut 10.0.9

I have my 5D MIII set up for recording .MLV

I have a few recorded files on my computer ready to play with.

What is the recommended procedure from here to get these files as high quality as possible and useable in Final Cut 10.0.9?

I read on a few of the forums to use badlands MLRawViewer and convert to .MOVs (prores4444 I believe?) but I get purple bit-like washed footage when I do that.
I also read to convert them to .dngs using the same MLRawViewer program, then import the pictures and convert them into a compound clip?

I am getting a bit lost in the forums trying to find the workflow I need for Final Cut 10....

Hi Walter. Not my video. I know about the problem with Rawmagic and Magic Lantern and totally agree. The conversion to CinemaDNG can be done with another program and the workflow still makes sense

I will create a Resolve video tutorial without Rawmagic for new users to try out
