To the helpful people of ML,

I was using Windows 10 to look at the files on the card directly. Big mistake methinks. Explorer crashed and did not eject the card correctly. THEN, the camera fell off the bed onto the floor with a heavy lens attached. I do not know what is causing this but here is the nitty: When the shutter button is pressed the mirror flips up but the shutter does not seem to move, and "Err 70" is displayed, same when the live mode is enabled on video setting. This goes for every setting on the wheel. All menu items are visible, and all preset configs seem to be reachable.

I have tried:

Removing the card
Replacing the card
Stock and aftermarket batteries
With and without lens
Multiple lenses
Flashing new ML
Removing ML
Flashing fresh 1.1.1 firmware
Cleared all settings

I tried to attach the dump log but it is too long.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would rather not send this into Canon to have them tell me its a $300 fix.

Thanks,

Tom

Sounds like the fall to the floor has damaged your shutter mechanism... this is 99.99% chance of mechanical failure, .01% a firmware issue.
