hi
i'm facing problems with a few raw pictures being corrupted. after trying a lot of tool, ufraw-mod gave me an error number, "Corrupt data near 0xc28aaf"

this raw image produces a correct preview and i was also able to generate a good jpeg from it in exif tool, but not full resolution (maybe if someone knows how to generate full res jpegs in exiftool my problem is solved)
is there any way to fiz those raw files, how to prevent it
?

I'm assuming you're talking about CR2 still images? What camera? Any chance you are or have previously used "Tragic Lantern" (in particular the SRAW/MRAW feature)? It would be a good idea to upload an original CR2 file.

exiftool is just extracting the jpeg previews embedded in the original raw file. You're not going to get anything full resolution out of that.

That is a corrupted frame. It happens every once in a while and is not necessarily a Magic Lantern issue. I had one of those the other day on a Nikon D70s.

Sorry I don't have a solution for it. Faster memory cards tend to minimize these issues.

To answer dmilligan's question, from the EXIF data:

Canon Image Type                : Canon EOS 60D
Canon Firmware Version          : Firmware Version 1.1.1
