Hey guys,

I'd used ML for a while with no problems, recording for long periods of time. I stopped for a while, reverted my firmware to Canon, and stored the camera away.

I picked the camera back up, put the ML firmware back on it, and now it cant record for longer than 30 seconds, and I'm dumbfounded as to why its started suffering all of a sudden.

I used a SanDisk Extreme Pro 64GB [160MB/s] on my Canon 5D2, 1044p RAW recording v2.0.

Anyone have any advice?

What Build date are you using ?
1044p ?
maximum frame resolution on 5d2 for continuous raw video recording is 1872*936 or 1856*928 @ 23.976p 2:1 A.R. (70.1 MB/s)
With Version 2.0 there a price to pay for the metadata & audio , so the 5d2 can only do in non crop mode is about 71MB/s & in crop mode
about 72MB/s for continuous stable recording . You can bust up to 79MB/s for about 30 sec or so with larger frames size, as the CF controller is limited to 80MB/s
If you what longer record times with Bigger resolution then you have to use Version 1.0 Raw not MLV.
Here list of possible Frame resolution at 23.976fps on a Lexar 1066x from 5d2 http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=11205.msg136460#msg136460
