So damn good man! I'm assuming this was shot at an aquarium?

Keep killing it

MysteriousLight

How did you shoot this? Did you film it through glass or did you submerge your camera?

This is amazing

DeafEyeJedi

Thanx.
I filmed it in slow-mo and conformed to 24p in post. To reach such colors I had to put a lot correction nodes in Resolve. Base node was bmd to cinelog-c, then Kodak 2383 and few more custom correction nodes.

KelvinK

Absolutely stunning and wonderful images! Probably the best colors i've seen on this forum.
True showcase for ML - what can you achieve with ML, especially regardless of it not being commercial work.
Congratulations :)

OMG! It is absolutely stunning!

DeafEyeJedi

Slo-mo as in 48p, 50p or 60p?

48p and 30p
720p mode on 6D is so bad: aliasing and false colors, even VAF can't save many scenes.

KelvinK

Your experience: how much VAF reducing sharpness?

Yes, there's some resolution lose with RAW.
I doubt they ever checked with RAW footage, only H.264 and for H.264 there's no visible degradation. But it worth using.

KelvinK

I read at blog.planet5d.com most scenes in film you shot in 30p and only few in 48p. Why?

Aliasing on 6D in 720p just too bad (for 48p you've switch to 720p mode), also I couldn't use so short shutter (1/100), because lack of light.
